Who is Justin?
Justin Young is an author, speaker, performer, composer, and teacher with over 30 years of professional experience in the entertainment industry.
As a voice-over actor, Justin has lent his voice to companies such as ESPN, Liberty Tax, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Monster Energy Drink, Transition Lenses, Busch Gardens as well as video games, audiobooks, documentaries, and international corporations. Justin is also a published singer/songwriter and an member of ASCAP. He served as the Musical Director for Broadway Disney’s national pre-release production of The Little Mermaid in Norfolk, Virginia, and enjoys any opportunity to arrange, compose and conduct choir music. |
Justin has published two books that have both entertained and inspired. His critically acclaimed middle-grade dystopian novelette, The Tale of Nottingswood (think Tim Burton meets Dr. Seuss - great for roadtrips), is now available as an audiobook, and his mini e-book The Three Keys of Effective Communication with Teens is now available as an eBook.
Justin's experience as a stage performer early in his childhood honed his natural ability to engage an audience - connecting with them in a personal way. Working as an inspirational and motivational speaker for teens and young adults has led to life changing moments for those who have heard him. His most requested lecture, Embrace the Inner-Nerd (and Discover the Hero Within), has helped teenagers change their view on life with what parents have described as "miraculous" results. But of all the "hats" he wears, his most cherished title is "Dad." Currently, Justin lives in Virginia with his wife and eight children. |
